“Ways of Being” is a performance that blends contemporary circus and dance with elements of physical theater, such as contact improvisation, partner acrobatics, and ball juggling. The artists define their own boundaries through a loosely assembled wooden structure, which takes on symbolic meaning and opens up multiple levels of interpretation for the audience. Together with the crosswise arrangement of the audience, this structure constitutes the only scenographic element present on stage.
